Our Rift white oak floating shelves are hand-made in any size. Free shipping, custom made in the USA to any size, ships in 10 working days. Installation hardware included. Our Rift white oak floating shelves are natural Rift white oak veneer on multi layered solid poplar core for ultimate strength and dimensional stability. Finished with premium quality low-sheen clear conversion varnish. All shelves are made to order. (minimum size is 3" X 9", maximum is 16"X 93") These shelves are 1-3/4” thick.

White Oak (Quercus alba) is native to North America, and is the official state tree of Maryland. It is a dense, strong, stable wood. White oak is what is traditionally used in American Craftsman furniture, also in boatbuilding, and the finest whiskey and wine barrels. Kentucky State law specifies only new white oak barrels can be used to make Kentucky bourbon. White oak is a high-strength wood that is naturally decay- and insect-resistant, making it suitable for barn timbers and farm fencing.
Rift-sawn white oak is created by milling the planks at an angle that is perpendicular to the growth rings. This method of sawing highlights long straight grains in the wood.

Wow these shelves are so beautiful and are a statement in our kitchen. This company was so easy to work with and made the process so easy. I was unsure so I called them and spoke directly with the owner who asked the right questions and walked me through each step to make sure I’ve thought of every obstacle and to make sure I have the right measurements and features that we want and need. They went above and beyond to help me and as a result, the installation was super easy. The shelves are so perfect, you can’t see any seams or imperfections. The brackets are very strong and hold them easily, while also being such a perfect fit that you can’t see them. We can’t recommend this company enough!!!! The rift white oak is beautiful!
