LED Puck Light Hole
We don’t sell lighting though we will prepare your shelves either for puck lights or LED strips.
Holes for pucks are $20 per hole. Most pucks will fit a 2-1/4” hole, some require a different size. You must provide a dimensioned sketch clearly showing location and size of holes there are no exceptions we must have a sketch or we will complete production without holes.
Two important things to have in mind when planning your installation:
1) The wiring to connect this sort of lighting is typically for use inside kitchen cabinetry and the like, and isn’t building code-acceptable for installation in a wall cavity unless encased in solid conduit.
2) Just about all LED strips must be plugged into a transformer or driver, so you’ll need to find a serviceable location for the driver.
We can install the channel or drill for pucks in any type of our wood shelves.
We cannot cut a channel in stainless steel shelves however we can make holes for pucks in stainless.

Our übermächtig hardware has long been trusted as a solid, dependable bracket for floating shelves when installed professionally. Each box of wall mounted floating shelves includes one of the following types of hardware:
Standard floating shelf with our übermächtig hardware works well on an open wall application.
Loose cleat one end is a great solution when a shelf meets a wall or a cabinet and also includes our übermächtig hardware.
Loose cleat two ends is a great solution when a shelf is in an alcove and also includes our übermächtig hardware.
Shelving Details
Our shelves are finished with clear low-sheen conversion varnish. It is a high-grade finish used by quality cabinet builders and furniture makers around the globe. If you plan to use another finish, stain, oil, or use any other finish of your choice, you may select the “*unfinished” checkbox when entering your order and your shelves will be delivered unfinished raw wood.
* Unfinished raw wood is available in the following finishes: African Mahogany, Ash, Bamboo, Cherry, Maple, Red oak, Rift white oak, Teak, Walnut
